Rushaga Gorilla Camp
Highlights:
Rushaga Gorilla Camp is situated in Bugambira on top of a Hill, right at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable NP. This affordable budget and midrange lodge is the prefect starting point for an unique Gorilla Tracking adventure. The rangers post can be reached within 10 minutes on foot. Its location on a mountain slope guarantees nice views of the national park. The camp has an outdoor fire place and a garden.
Main Building:
The main building sits on top of the hill overlooking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and facilitates the restaurant, a bar, a craft shop, as well as a small terrace. The main area is characterized by rustic wooden furniture. Every evening a camp fire is lit at the fire place just in front of the main building.
Guest Accommodation:
Travelers have the choice between the comfortable safaris tents (Midrange) or the more affordable cabins (Budget) for those with a small budget. The safari tents which are built on the slope below the main building, offering a great view of the forest and absolute privacy. The safari tents are furnished with wooden furniture and have private bathrooms with shower, sink, toilet and running hot and cold water. Each tent sits on a wooden raised platform with a private balcony. The cabins are basic rooms which are self-contained.
Meals:
The lodge can be booked on full board, half board and bed & breakfast basis. Continental breakfast from a buffet as well as full English breakfast, Lunch with 1 course and dinner with 3 courses are offered. For lunch the lodge offers a menu with several dishes to choose from. For dinner according to a set menu of international dishes with menu with each a vegetarian and non-vegetarian option to choose from. Hot drinks (tea and coffee) are available in the afternoon. Water is available in the rooms. In case of any special dietary request, please inform us in advance, so that the lodge will be informed and prepared accordingly.

The activities that can be done from Rushaga gorilla camp include: Gorilla trekking, Gorilla habituation experience, forest walks, birding tours and cultural experiences among others. Since the camp has bicycle rental services, people can also take part in cycling around the area.
