Just Wonderful As two friends we booked a six-day "Gorilla Tracking & Wildlife Safari" tour in Uganda with Ellington Safaris - in *January 2020*, a short while before Corona hit us in Europe. We had a wonderful trip with the best guide we could ask for. Shaun was able to answer all our questions, was able to make things possible spontaneously and made our trip a pure joy. We felt very comfortable with the organization before and after the trip too. Uganda ist an amazing country to visit. And I would do it all over again with Ellington Safaris - as I plan to visit Kenya with them too some day. I can highly recommend a safari with them and have no complaint whatsoever. Go for it!

Roundtrip north and west Uganda I did a fantastic 2WEEK roundtrip. - Sipi Falls. Fantastic tracking area. And very good guide - Karimojong wildlife as for 4.000 years ago at Mt. Moroto. Unforgettable night in the bush with natives and their cows around the fireplace - Kidepo national park. Hords of wild buffalos, antilopes,,,, and the most beautyfull national park - Murchison Falls. seen from the Nile and afterwards seen at the falls. An unforgettable meeting with the force of nature - Kibale Forest national Park - meeting Chimpanzees in the most wonderfull wilderness in the rainforrest - Queen Elisabeth's National Park with hords of elephants again in the most beatyfull and also rough Park. ,,, all in all a fantastic roundtrip ending up in Kampale - a wonderful city with both restaurants, bars super nice relaxing after a wonderful safari. Wiederholt hervorragende Betreuung! Geplant war unsere Reise für März 2020. Aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie schloss Uganda jedoch seine Grenzen, die erst im Oktober 2020 wieder öffneten. Dank Jennys engagiertem Einsatz konnten wir alle unsere Übernachtungen etc. ohne Zusatzkosten auf Oktober umbuchen. Zudem konnten wir Jenny jederzeit - sowohl telefonisch als auch via E-Mail - erreichen, was uns darin bestärkt hat, die Reise auch während der Pandemie und weltweiter Reisewarnung anzutreten. Für die Einreise nach Uganda wurden wir von Jenny und Shaun mit Buchungsbestätigungen etc. ausgestattet. Dank der guten Vorbereitung konnten wir problemlos einreisen. Unsere achttägige Rundreise - Mbarara, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, Kampala - konnte beginnen. Bereits zum zweiten Mal waren wir mit Ellington unterwegs und auch dieses Mal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Die Tour war wunschgemäß realisiert worden und auch individuelle Anpassungen waren nie ein Problem. Shaun, unser Guide, hat uns sicher durch Uganda gefahren und viel über Land und Leute erzählt. Zudem konnten man mit ihm offen über Geschichte, Politik, Kultur und Lebensweise in Uganda sprechen. Die Gesprächsthemen sind uns nie ausgegangen. Highlights waren die vielen Elefantenherden, die wir im Queen Elizabeth gesehen haben und das Gorillatrecking. Auch muss man in der aktuellen Situation sagen, dass sich jederzeit an die Corona-Vorschriften gehalten wurde. So war das Fahrzeug mit Desinfektionsmittel ausgestattet und in den Lodges wurde sich auch an alle Vorschriften gehalten. Auch um einen Termin für den notwendigen Coronatest zum Rückflug haben sich Jenny und Shaun gekümmert. Diesen konnten wir problemlos in Kampala machen. Jenny und Shaun haben uns auf jeden Fall gezeigt, dass sich auch in diesen Zeiten eine Reise nach Uganda lohnt. Nicht zuletzt, weil viel weniger Touristen im Land unterwegs sind. Wir haben uns jederzeit sicher gefühlt und sind gesund nach Deutschland zurückgekehrt.

Amazing family trip with Ellington Safaris We did a five day trip to the South West of Uganda (Lake Mburu, Bwindi and Lake Mutanda) with our family and friends. It was a memorable experience, great landscape, great lodges and great service anywhere we went. The organisation of the trip was excellent. An unforgettable experience Ellington Safaris offered us an unforgettable experience of a 4 day safari to Murchison Falls National Park, including Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and a Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest. Booking and organization were excellent, Ellington offered us a tailor-made program. Abaas, the driver, was an inexhaustible source of information. The car, the logde, the additional activities, each game drive - everything was absolutely well organized.

Excellent Service We travelled with the company for a week. Well maintained comfortable car, extremely skilled and friendly driver, who made the impossible possible - like spotting 13 lions hunting... Beautiful lodges, wonderfull landscapes... Great experience! We really enjoyed our experience with Ellington. We had Christopher who was knowledgeable and wonderful. They provided a number options for lodging and our final decision (Bwindi Lodge) was magical! Highly recommend.

Kenya/ Tanzania Migration Safari This is my second time booking with Ellington Safaris and once again a great trip was planned. Everything from transport to hotels was handled, allowing for easy travel. Our travel consultant, Jenny, was prompt in responding and worked to accommodate all of our wishes. While in Tanzania we had a specific guide, Abel. He allowed for a very personalized trip, allowing us to check off each item on our bucket list.
